Updated Skincare Routine! ( December 2012 )

As the title says I will be sharing with you guys the products that I have been using and it's been pretty good to my skin and of course no breakouts ( so far * knock on wood * ) and the last time I shared with you my skincare routine was almost a year ago and things have definitely changed!

The Products!

- Pond's Cleaning & Exfoliating Towelettes in Citrus Scent
- Chanel Lotion Purete ( Toner )
- Benefit's Total Moisture Facial Cream
- Clarisonic Mia
- Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream
- Biore Warming Anti-Blackhead Cream Cleanser
- Biotherm Hydra-Mineral Cleanser Toner Mousse

 Steps!

1) I would take the towelettes from Ponds and remove as much makeup as possible and I will say that I like this one out of the ones in the market because it's doesn't burn my face and it removes most of  my makeup with one towelettes and I also like the scent of it as well. And the towelettes actually has two sides, one side is smooth and the other one has little beads/bumps to help you get more makeup off without rubbing too hard.

2) I would take Biotherm cleanser or the Biore cleanser ( sometimes I would use both of them if my face is feeling really gross ) to clear off all of the makeup. What I really like about the Biotherm cleanser is that it is a mousse texture so it's not harsh on the skin and it feels my skin feeling soft yet clean which is awesome. And for the Biore cleanser, it does the same thing but it has some ingredients that will help with fighting the acne and it really does work.

* I added my Clarisonic Mia in here because I sometimes use it with the Biore cleanser when I'm feeling lazy and I don't want to use my hands, and what I like about it is that when I use the Clarisonic Mia, I feel like it's doing a better job of cleansing my face compared to when I use my hands. *

3) Then I would take my Chanel Lotion Purete and make sure that there's no more dirt or makeup left on my face. What I like about this product is that when you apply it to your face it has a cool, tingly feeling and when I feel that, I feel like the product is working.

4) Final step is applying my face cream! Lately I have been loving my Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream because it's light weight, absorbs into the skin quickly, leaves your skin feeling soft and there's no scent. But now that winter season is here where I live, I need to have a heavier face cream and the first one that came to mind was Benefit's Total Moisture Facial Cream and I loved this last winter so I decided to bring it out again.

Well I think I covered everything! Yeah I don't think my skincare routine is that complicated which I like but I'm sure I'll be adding some anti-aging products into my routine pretty soon.. HAHA anyways hope you guys have a wonderful day!

My Skincare Routine! ( Mostly Night Time! )

Hello! I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far, it's Thursday and it means only one more day till FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY! ( I hope you guys got the humor there ;] LOL! ) Anyways, in today's post I'm going to share with you the products I enjoy using for my nightly skincare routine. I'm focusing more on night because I admit that in the morning all I do is splash my face with face and then I'm done because I just don't have the time to do all that stuff. ( It's probably because I like hitting the snooze button I little too much ;] hehe ) So let me get started here :)

All the wonderful products I use to clean/take care of my face! :)

So I recently purchased MAC Cleanse Off Oil because I asked my regular MAC girl what she uses to take off all her makeup especially the tough waterproof mascara and she recommended this one to me and I trust her opinion so I went ahead and bought it. ( Don't worry I will totally be doing a separate review on this bad boy soon! )

I would use the Cleanse Off Oil to take off everything I had on my face and then I would use My Beauty Diary Strawberry Yogurt Amino Acid Cleanser after to make sure everything is off. So the only thing I'm going to say about this product is that I really like it and the scent isn't so bad like come on, who doesn't like strawberry scented items? :)

When I'm done cleansing my face, I would then put on Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate and let it soak into my face for atleast 3 minutes. I will also be doing a review on this later on but I will say that I'm liking this product so far, then main thing is that I haven't broken out from using it so that's always a good sign :)

After letting the serum soak into my face, I would then apply Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream. I really like this product as well because the cream isn't too thick and it soaks into your skin really quickly, it also doesn't have a scent to it which is nice to have just a plain non-scented face cream sometimes. But for when the weather gets colder ( it can go as cold as -40 degrees where I live -______- ) I use Benefit's Total Moisture Facial Cream because it's a thicker cream and it'll give me more moisture that I need during this ugly weather.

Last but not least I would treat myself to a face mask once or twice a week! I heard that you're suppose to give yourself a face mask atleast 3 times a week but like I said I don't really have the time for it lol. So you all know that My Beauty Diary Mask is my all-time favorite face masks, so just last week I saw that my Asian supermarket had this Earl Grey Tea & Macaron scent and everyone was raving about it online so I bought one box to try. When I first opened it I immediately fell in love with the scent and I knew I wanted to get another box already, and then after 30 minutes had pass I noticed that my skin was lighter and softer so I knew right then and there I need to get me more boxes. ( I'm so obsessed! LOL! )

Well I hope you guys enjoyed my little post here, and I want to know how is your skincare routine and is there some products you can't live without in your routine? :)

A Haul To Start Off The New Year!

Hello my lovely friends! I hope everyone had a fun yet safe new years in welcoming a new year :) I hope this year will be a better year just because there'll be some excitement which I'm looking forward too! :) Always, I'm going to get started with my haul! I will say that the next couple blog posts will be hauls just that I've been hauling alot of items, but I'm hoping to pump out more EOTD's and reviews this year rather in having alot of hauls because that's not what my blog is all about LOL! But let me get started before I drag on..

The Items!

So I've been wanting Benefit's Watts Up highlighter ever since it came out maybe a month ago. I don't have much highlighting makeup items and everyone was raving about this one so I really wanted to get my hands on this! The first couple times that I visited Sephora, they were sold out of it so I would double check now and then and finally they had it in stock so I grab it.

So the next item I purchased was definitely an impulse buy which is the Tarina Tarantino Jewel Shadow Palette in Magical. This brand has had some bad reviews on it when it first debuted at Sephora, and I'm assuming they heard the complaints and worked on re-formulating their products. I remember the first time I swatched their eyeshadows when they first came out it was definitely chalky and not pigmentated, but now I'm blown away at the pigmentation. The quality is just as good as any high end brand and I love this palette because it's a taupe-y, pink-y and purple-ish palette and you can definitely use it for day and night. I will be doing a FULL review later on when I've use the palette a couple times so stay tuned!

With Flash!

Without Flash.

So I will admit that I'm not the person to be spending alot of money on skin care items but because of the weather changing here where I live, my skin has been reacting/freaking out so it got me thinking that maybe I should invest in some skin care items and the first place I thought of was Kiehls.

I've heard alot of good reviews on their infamous Midnight Recovery Concentrate and it was definitely something that I wanted to give a try. And the lady that was helping me out said that it is the perfect item for my combination skin ( it works for all skin type she told me )

And she also recommended me this kit which is great for us combination skin girls, the kit comes with a FULL size facial cream, a DELUXE sample size of facial cleanser and a mini size of the facial toner.

I'll definitely be doing a follow up review to let you guys know if these products actually work, if not I'll be on the hunt for some skin care items that actually work for my horrible skin -____- If you have any recommendations let me know! :)
