My Top Picks For Fall & Winter Lipsticks!

Hhhmm I would say that this is a miracle that I'm blogging a little bit more frequently ( I know it's not as much as I would like to but it's still better then none at all! ) But it's just so tiring from taking the pictures, editing the pictures.. I need a assistant.. just kidding! LOL anyways I should get started with this post..

I thought this was a cool shot.. 0_0

****

The Stars! ( From left to right )
- Revlon " Creme Brulee "
- Revlon " Candy Apple "
- Revlon " Sweet Tart "
- Revlon " Lollipop "
- Revlon " Ruby "
- Revlon " Rosy Nude "
- MAC " Dish It Up " ( Limited Edition )

** Yes I know I have alot of things in the background.. what can I say it's the life of a beauty blogger, or am the only one.. 0_o

The Swatches!

Tidbits!

- I will say that I did not intentionally have all of them from Revlon but it just seems like my favorite shades came from this brand and it's also a drugstore brand which is much affordable ( sometimes.. )
- As you can tell the Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters don't have that great pigmentation as the other ones but it's still a great product because it leaves your lips feeling moist throughout the whole day. And there's a whole shade range that you can choose from whether you're into pinks, reds or corals there's a shade for everyone =)
- I definitely love the pigmentation and how creamy the Revlon Colorburst lipsticks are, I would say that the product would last the whole day without applying again, unless you're eating/drinking. And I love the color range of this line as well, there's something for everyone.
- I don't really have much reds this year just because I haven't really been into reds, I'm leaning more towards the pinks/fuchsia and I don't know why lol
- When I picked up MAC " Dish It Up " at the time, I thought it looked way to dark in the tube but when I applied it on lightly, it gave me a nice tint of berry purple shade ( it's hard to describe haha! ) like I just ate a popsicle.

** If I had to choose a favorite out of the batch that I have here it would be Revlon " Lollipop " just because I love the color! And this shade actually looks great on me and I will say when I first picked up the Colorburst Lip Butter way back in the beginning of the year, I was a little bit intimidated by the color but then I learned to like it and how I'm loving it!

I also feel that this shade it will suit any skin tone! =) So if you haven't grabbed this shade yet, I suggest you try it out for yourself!

Well that's all that I have to share with you guys, I hope that you guys are doing well and have a safe Thanksgiving long weekend to my Canadians! =)

Red Lips For The Holidays!

Thought I would spoil you guys with a DOUBLE post! Hehe So the holidays is just around the corner so I thought I would share with you all the red lipsticks I own and which one is my favorite!

From Left To Right: MUFE Rouge Artist Intense in Shade 44, Revlon Lipgloss in Fire Cracker, Revlon Color Burst Lipstick in Ruby, Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait De Gloss in Fatale, MAC Lipstick in Hibiscus, Kat Von D Painted Love Lipstick in Adora

Without The Cap On!

Swatches! In The Same Order As Above!

I personally don't go for the red lips because I thought I could never pull it off but when I pick up my first red lipstick, I instantly fell in love! :) As you can tell from the swatches I went for the darkish cherry red shade because everything else just scares me HAHA! But the one thing that I love most about red lips is that it brightens up your complexion which I need! :)

My favorite one(s) out of the bunch is Revlon's Color Burst in Ruby and Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait De Gloss in Fatale. I love these ones because they are long lasting without having to reapply every 2 hours :) When I do apply any red lipsticks I would dab it on first because it's really intense if I were to apply it like a regular lipstick and if I had the time I would apply lip liner to make it last even longer.

Well this was a short and sweet post wouldn't you say? So I want to know what are your favorite red lipsticks/lipglosses :)

Sephora Friends & Family Sale Haul! ( It's a really MINI one )

I am back with another haul! I just love doing haul posts because they are just so much fun and I love sharing with you guys what I got recently :) So without further ado, here is what I got from the sale and trust me it's like nothing compared to some other people.. And I know Stacey would be proud/happy for me! :D

*DRUMROLL PLEASE! * MY VERY FIRST YSL LIPSTICKS!!! :D :D I was so freaking happy when I saw them at my Sephora I didn't even know that they had it there! So I'm assuming that they just lauched YSL just recently.

The packaging the lipsticks came in! So gorgeous right? Well wait till you see the next picture..

BAM! Aren't they freaking gorgeous?!?! :D

Left to Right: 1 Beige Charnel ( Nude Beige ) & 26 Peche Tendresse ( Tender Peach )

I love how the middle part is the same color as the lipstick which would make it ALOT easier to find if you were a lipstick junkie like me... Not as bad as my blush stash I don't think..

And I was also excited was that I got to use my 20% off coupon with it so I saved almost $16 CAN!! I only had to pay around $60 for both which isn't all that bad compared to when I have to pay the full price which would run me around $76! Eeekkk!

Sorry I didn't provide any swatches but I just want to admire them a little bit longer before I use them. Wow that just sounded dumb.. O_O

I got this with my 500 point perk and it's awesome because I get a FULL size of the Benefit Dandelion boxed powder! :D I think I might have all of the boxed powder from Benefit O_O

I also made a spontaneous trip to LUSH because I've been seeing all these awesome review of their Christmas stuff and I wanted to see for myself if it's worth the hype. When I first walked in the smell was definitely overwhelming but after awhile I got use to the smell. After a good 10 minutes in there, I ended up getting two items: Strawberry Feels Forever ( a massage bar ) and Lemony Flutter ( cuticle butter )

I will say that LUSH is actually pretty expensive because my total came up to almost $30 O_O so I can't say if it is worth the price/spending your money so I will definitely be doing a updated post when I've tested the product enough.

Well that concludes another post from me! Hope you guys enjoyed it and let me know if you picked anything from the Family & Friends Sale or even just recently! :)

Favorite Makeup Products At The Moment! Oct. 6 2011

Hello! Its only been 4 days since my last blog post but it feels like FOREVER, no joke. But anyways! I haven't been doing monthly favorites because I feel like I don't really switch up the products I use because I'm just lazy to rotate everything, so I'll just be doing " Favorite Makeup Products At The Moment " every now and then! :) Let's get started!

The Stars Of The Post Are:
` MAC CremeBlend Blush in LadyBlush
` MAC Sheertone Blush in Pink Swoon
` MAC CreamSheen Lipstick in Hot Gossip
` MAC Matte Eyeshadow in Wedge
` FairyDrops Scandal Queen Mascara
` Chanel Illusion D' Ombre in 83 Illusoire

Swatches:
` Left to Right: Hot Gossip, Illusoire, Wedge, Pink Swoon & LadyBlush

Tidbits!
` I've been really into layering my blushes! First I would apply a cream blush then setting it with a powder blush. I find that it lasts longer that way!
` Ive been into the light berry color for lipsticks, but I guess thats the affect of the cold weather here where I am -____-
` I'm still testing out the FairyDrops Scandal Queen Mascara and Chanel Illusion D' Ombre, I might be doing a full review on it later on.
` I'm so glad that I have Wedge eyeshadow in my life cause its a good crease color for me because it gives me the definition I want and its also a good transition color :)
